The challenge
Triplicane Coffee started as a single high-traffic outlet in Chennai. When franchise interest grew, scaling exposed four recurring problems:
- Inconsistent menus — each new outlet built its own product list, causing price drift and missing items
- No central visibility — sales data lived in spreadsheets and WhatsApp groups
- Slow franchise launch — opening a new outlet took 2–3 weeks of manual setup
- Compliance gaps — franchise partners used different receipt formats; GSTIN and FSSAI details were often missing
The owner needed a POS that treated franchise expansion as a first-class workflow — not an afterthought bolted onto a single-store system.
Our approach
We rolled out Focus20 POS using a repeatable franchise playbook across two parallel tracks, with the flagship live in week one and the full network migrated within five weeks.
Owner onboarding
- Account and brand setup (GSTIN, address)
- Flagship outlet configuration
- Template menu creation at the flagship store
- Franchise outlet creation and invite-code distribution
- Network go-live across all locations
Franchise partner onboarding
- Join the brand via invite code
- Configure outlet details
- Clone the template menu automatically
- Create cashier staff accounts
- Go live — billing starts the same day
What we delivered
- One-click menu cloning from the template store to every new outlet
- Invite codes with usage limits for controlled franchise onboarding
- Role-based access for owners, managers, and cashiers
- Multi-store dashboard comparing revenue, orders, and net profit across all 12 outlets
- Per-store GST, FSSAI, and tax configuration on every receipt
